In September of 2001 I took a road trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. Billed as one of the most spectacular of the National Parks it came close to living up to its hype. The views were overwhelming and the beauty was incredible. If I hadn't already been to Peru in the same year and didn't live surrounded by the Cascades and Olympics I would have been awed. As it was I was still amazed. The only bad part to the trip is that a huge forest fire was raging less than 30 miles away so the air wasn't crystal clear, thus the haze in some of the photos.
